LINDBERG Acetanium Eyewear style 1224. Sleek clean and high-tech design. If the weight of your glasses is an issue then this frame is the solution. As the name suggests, LINDBERG Acetanium is a combination of acetate and titanium. The front of the frame is made from acetate, while titanium has been used for the temples, bridge and temples. This has allowed for a minimalist design, resulting in a light and elegant frame. Furthermore, the reinforcement of the bridge forms the basis for the flexible and adjustable nose-pad arms which are also known from LINDBERG’s other frame collections. With Acetanium, LINDBERG has combined the best features of acetate and titanium to make a light, aesthetic and, above all, comfortable frame which is bound to set a new standard for minimalist design. For the sake of durability, conventional acetate frames have been very solid around the bridge and hinges, which has made them relatively heavy and stiff – and difficult to adapt to the face. However, fifteen years of working with titanium as an eyewear material has provided LINDBERG with the necessary experience and expertise for the company to be able to develop an acetate frame which meets the company’s philosophy of producing lightweight, comfortable eyewear in an elegant and functional design.
The front and half the temple is laminated classic tortoise acetate, and the other half of the temples is gunmetal titanium. Hygienic nose pads and temple covers are made from medical silicone for comfort.
The lenses can be made in prescription or non-prescription by us or your local optical boutique for an additional charge.
