Claire Goldsmith Hex (1966) Sunglasses. Hex (1966). The names’ in the frame! (Saying that – a Hexagon should have 6 angles not 8!)  The Claire Goldsmith CG Legacy Icons Sunglass Collection pays homage to the spirit of vintage styling forming truly modern classics. Legacy is eyewear that will be noticed for all the right reasons. No logos allow the design and the wearer’s individual style to speak for itself. Classic but with a modern twist, uniquely contoured and incredibly comfortable. Claire Goldsmith is the great-granddaughter of Oliver Goldsmith, one of the most influential designers and creators of modern day eyewear and the man who once dressed the eyes of iconic fashionistas such as Audrey Hepburn and Michael Caine. “If you want a truly beautiful hat you go to a milliner like Philip Treacy. If you want incredible shoes you go to Christian Louboutin. But if you want glasses that are amazing quality and that were unique and timeless in their design, then it has to be a CG frame that you invest in.

This sunglass frame is a triple laminated acetate with a olive tortoise exterior, a cream center and a crystal aqua interior combined with chocolate temples with rivets accenting the frame at the temple base. This sunglass frame will be hard-wearing and long-lasting.

This frame comes with gradient green plastic sunglass lenses with UV400 protection to provide protection from the damaging rays of the sun, resulting in healthier eyes. These are non-prescription ready-to-wear sunglasses, but the lenses can be duplicated in most prescriptions by us or your local optical boutique for an addition charge.
